A simple way to call for help

Raise an alert from your home base unit or wearable pendant. The SIM-enabled base connects to the monitoring team without a telephone line.

Someone there, day and night

The monitoring team receives alerts 24 hours a day. An operator will respond within 60 seconds, assess the situation and arrange help through your contacts or emergency services when needed.

Payment that suits you

Choose a discounted annual payment or monthly payments. Compare the full yearly cost here and review your service terms before arranging payment.

Reassurance for you and your family

A little reassurance can make a difference

You may live alone, have experienced a fall or simply want an extra way to get help when nobody else is nearby. A personal alarm lets you raise an alert without needing to reach a telephone.

For families, it offers the comfort of knowing there is a way to call for help when you cannot be there yourself.

The base unit uses a built-in SIM to connect to the monitoring team, so you don’t need a telephone line. With the Falls Detection Alarm, the pendant sends an alert to the base, which makes the call. You speak with the operator through the base unit.

Choose the option that suits you

Compare a base unit on its own, a wearable pendant with a base unit, or a falls detection pendant with a base unit. All three connect to the monitoring team using a built-in SIM, so no telephone line is needed.

How it works

What happens when you need help?

01

Raise an alert

Press the button on your base unit or pendant if you need assistance. The Falls Detection Alarm can also raise an alert automatically when a fall is detected.

02

The team checks what has happened

An operator will respond within 60 seconds. They will try to speak with you through the speaker and microphone in your base unit and assess the situation.

03

Appropriate help is arranged

Depending on the situation and your agreed response arrangements, the team may contact a nominated relative or other contact, or the emergency services.

Your questions answered

Frequently asked questions

Find out more about choosing an alarm, joining the service and getting support.

Can I arrange an alarm for a relative?

Yes, you can begin sign-up on behalf of a relative. We will explain the information and agreement needed from the person who will use the alarm. The person paying for the service can be different from the person using it.

Will the falls detector detect every fall?

No. Automatic falls detection cannot detect every fall. Wear and use your device as instructed, and press the help button if you need assistance and are able to do so. Falls detection raises an alert; it does not prevent a fall.

Who receives an alert and arranges help?

An operator from the monitoring team will respond within 60 seconds. They will assess the situation and arrange help from one of your nominated contacts or the emergency services when necessary.

When will my service be active?

Monitoring starts once enrolment, equipment setup and testing are complete and you have received confirmation that the service is live. Completing the form or arranging payment does not activate monitoring.

Can I pay monthly or annually?

You can choose annual payment or monthly payments. Annual payment offers a saving compared with paying monthly over 12 months. You’ll review the full price and service terms before setting up payment through GoCardless.
